Danila is a superb tour guide who really knows her material and shares her knowledge with great passion and enthusiasm. In addition to her her knowledge of historical issues and places she knows and finds the best and most enjoyable places to eat and sleep while you are touring with her.

A tour with Danila is like visiting Italy with a very knowledgable Italian friend. We learned so much on our battlefield tour!  She makes sure each person sees what is important to them, and along the way we eat and drink in true Italian fashion! Whatever your interest, you will appreciate your visit so much more touring with an insider. A special plus...her English is good!

In 2010 we visited Italy for almost a month. Thinking this was going to be the last time we visited, we wanted to make it count. We wanted to see everything. Our good friends recommended Dr. Danila Bracaglia as a private tour guide. We contacted Danila several months before and with our time frame and she planned our itinerary. With Danila, we experienced Rome. From the Coliseum to Hadrian's Summer Palace, we saw and learned much more than we expected. We had the best time. Danila also took us to other places near Rome. Montecassino, the city of Agnani and St. Benedict's monastery to name a few. Each place was brought to life for us. We visited Rome again in 2012 as part of a Mediterranean cruise and then with 18 members of our family in 2014. We highly recommend Danila for a guide. If you are going to spend the time and money to see Rome, you need to make that extra investment to experience Rome.

"Like having a friend give you a tour"

Danila is really quite amazing. After we booked our day-long tour with her, she researched my husband's uncle and where he would have been during the fighting in the area. She truly went above and beyond, even changing the itinerary during the day of where we would go and what we would see, based on what our interests were. She spent extra time with us in the places we really liked, and she was extremely flexible about what she took us to see. We saw some completely unexpected things, and we were very impressed.... Danila is absolutely an expert on WWII history. What is even better is that she cares about whether her clients are enjoying their experience.... she is not just "doing a job." She believes that it is important for everyone to know history, and she is certainly doing her part to inspire and challenge others to find out more about things that matter to them. It was really like having a friend give you a tour.
